Mississippi Highway 304

Mississippi Highway 304 (MS 304) consists of two routes in northwest Mississippi:
*A freeway-grade route coinciding with most of SIU 10 of Interstate 69, beginning at U.S. Route 61 just north of the Tunica/DeSoto County line, then running east to I-55 in northern Hernando, entirely in DeSoto County.
*A ''scenic route,'' which begins at Mississippi Highway 713 in Banks, runs east to Hernando to end at I-55, Entirely on the former routing of MS 304
MS 304 formerly ran on a two-lane alignment south of the present routing from U.S. 61 in Tunica Resorts (Tunica County) east to Interstate 55 in Hernando. The western portion of the former route is now officially part of MS 713; the remainder of the route (except the portion that is part of the scenic route noted above) no longer has an official state designation, but a number of state highway markers still appear along the route and at intersections.
==Route description==
MS 304 begins at a trumpet interchange with US 61 east of Tunica Resorts in the floodplain of the Mississippi River. The four-lane freeway has a half-diamond interchange with MS 3 that allows access to and from the east. MS 304 crosses over a rail line and has a partial interchange with a stub of I-69 that leads to MS 713 at Banks; the interchange includes a flyover from the westbound direction of the freeway. Immediately to the east of the interchange, MS 304 and I-69 leave the Mississippi River floodplain. The freeway has diamond interchanges with MS 301, Fogg Road, and Tulane Road. MS 304 and I-69 cross another rail line and pass over US 51 with no access just west of the state highway's terminus at I-55 on the northern end of Hernando, where I-69 joins I-55 heading north toward Memphis. The highways meet at a full cloverleaf interchange with the easternmost ramps closed until MS 304 is extended eastward.
